New Hampshire 2011

An informal gathering of international spittlebug workers recently took place in central New Hampshire (USA). In attendance were hosts Vinton and Ruth Thompson (USA), K.G. Andrew and Marilyn Hamilton (Canada), Andressa Paladini (Brazil), Dan Peck (USA), Adam Bell (USA), and Jason Cryan (USA). One day was devoted to field collecting; specimens of approximately 12 cercopoid species were found, including Prosapia ignipecta, the northern-most species of the family Cercopidae occurring in North America."
